Smell and Words can't be encaptured, the moment frozen - once they have happened they are lost, gone for all time. Only the essence of the feeling remains, encapsulated and embeded in the pictures and thoughts of the days. How precious those days have become with hindsight.
'Writing is the geometry of the soul' ~ Plato.
'Writing is thinking in ink'
'Writing is not only a technical process; it is also a joyous physical experience' ~ Roland Barthes.
'Writing enlarges the landscape of the mind' ~ V.S. Pritchett.
'Books are good enough in their own way, but they are a mighty bloodless substitute for life.' ~ Robert Louis Stevenson.
'People say that life is the thing, but I prefer reading.' ~ Logan Pearsall Smith.
Reflecting on the outcome of the last few days. Mysterious and wonderous in many ways. Riding on the reflection of a horse, down rutted track - looking forwards - too scared to look back.
